The Lenawee County Continuum of Care received notice the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding application process is now open.
HUD has released a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the Continuum of Care (CoC) Program for 2022. The CoC Program distributes funding to homeless projects in communities throughout the nation, including Lenawee County.

Qualifying organizations interested in applying under the Lenawee County application must submit a letter of intent including a project description and any project level data to demonstrate the success and need for the project to the CoC Chair – Lynne Punnett at firstname.lastname@example.org and CoC Secretary – Madeline DeMarco, Lenawee Community Mental Health Authority, at MDeMarco@LCMHA.orgby 5 pm September 6, 2022.
The Lenawee County Continuum of Care serves as an advocacy, awareness, and planning workgroup of the Lenawee Essential Needs Council. Our mission is to meet the needs of the homeless population in Lenawee County.
The Lenawee County Continuum of Care was established to provide the homeless with access to shelter, resources, and services and to raise public awareness about homelessness in Lenawee County, Michigan. To this end, we are committed to becoming more aware of existing needs for shelter and related services offered within the community and to connecting the homeless with services and resources. We strive to meet the needs of the homeless and work towards providing, identifying and satisfying the needs of the homeless in an effort to eliminate homelessness in Lenawee County.
